Sun, 19 Sep 2010 21:51:37 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears http://www.whatreallygives.com/jay-cutler-to-bears/ http://www.whatreallygives.com/jay-cutler-to-bears/#comments Fri, 03 Apr 2009 00:50:35 +0000 Who Gives http://www.whatreallygives.com/?p=130 Well it’s official, the Jay Cutler saga is now over.  Cutler is going to the Chicago Bears along with a 2009 5th round pick.  In exchange the Bears have given Denver Kyle Orton, who definitely won’t help Denver go above .500, ever, and three draft picks:  a 2009 1st round pick (no. 18 overall) and 3rd round pick (no. 18 overall), and a 2010 1st round pick.  I suppose what the Broncos lose in Cutler (and getting Orton in return) they make up for in their draft picks.  They should probably use them wisely.

For those of you who didn’t know, Cutler hasn’t been happy with the situation in Denver at all since there were rumors of 1st year head coach Josh McDaniels looking to trade Cutler for Matt Cassel.  Josh McDaniels screwed up big time, but hey, now he can start fresh with the terrible QB falling into his lap in Kyle Orton.

Look out, Kellen Clemens.  Because dude, you’re about to lose your job.  How can Clemens brush off rumors that the Jets want Cutler?  Buddy, this is the real world.  It’s time to put your big boy pants on and understand that you’ll never lead a team to an above .500 season.  And the Jets, with all the moves they’ve been making, probably have high ambitions.  If things continue down this path, you’re out of a starting job bro.
