No surprise there. Everyone knew Calipari would leave Memphis for Kentucky. The only question is can he help turn the program around?
I think so. No doubt he’s going to bring them back to the NCAAs. How far they’ll go in his first few years remains to be seen, a big toss-up for sure. Syracuse is good. No doubt about that. The Syracuse win over Connecticut was unbelievable. I have enjoyed watching them play this entire NCAA season. The only thing holding them back from being a Top 5 team is the only thing that has held Memphis from making a bigger dent in the NCAAs the last few years: the inability to make free throws, not just down the stretch but throughout the game. Think about how much stress they could take off themselves if they made their free throws early on in games. …

Does the UConn men’s basketball coach, Jim Calhoun make too much money? Yeah he probably does, but seriously how do people get off asking the guy why he doesn’t donate a portion of his salary to charity? Its his money, he can do what he wants with it.
