Brady needs to throw at least three TDs for me to be happy, and Maroney needs to show he’s the running back worth the 1st round pick four years ago we thought he was.  As long as no one gets hurt and the Pats come out with it, I’m happy.

How the Patriots do will be determined by their offensive balance.  They need to stick with what has got them their five wins this season, and that’s the balance between the pass and the run.  Now I’ve heard many analysts say you can’t pass effectively without establishing the run.  That’s really not true with the Patriots.  But what I am really starting to believe is that the Patriots can’t run effectively without the pass.  They need to come out and open the Dolphins defense up right away, but soon thereafter they need to strike the balance in their attack.

I’m very very excited for the 2009 season to get under way.  Since the Patriots traded Matt Cassel & Mike Vrabel I have been biting my nails as I sit and wait for the Draft.  They have a lot to do in the draft, but it looks like the higher ups made some great choices in Leigh Bodden & Shawn Springs.  We’ll see though.  The Pats are going to need linebackers, big time.  The Draft should be interesting.

But here we are.  The title of this post says it all.  LeBron James is THE BEST player in basketball right now.  The guy is just incredible.  At age 24 he has already established himself as the premier player in the NBA.  The King gives his all every single game and is far & away the most consistent player in the NBA, and one of the most consistently performing athletes in the world.  If the Cavaliers have any shot at the title, it is almost entirely because of LeBron James.

So a German guy figures since he’s sterile, he should just pay his neighbor $2,500 to impregnate his wife.  So you think that’s all there is to it?  No, not at all.  The neighbor’s wife was completely against it from the starts, but this guy “is doing it for the money.”  So he proceeds to try 72 times to impregnate the wife of the man who paid him to do so.  Well, I’ll let you read the rest here…

UNC is playing their usual, consistent games.  They haven’t seemed to struggle at all in the year’s tournament.  The Tar Heels just defeated a good Villanova team who was having a fairy tale run of their own.  Having Ty Lawson back has only helped them. 

This game is going to be exciting, I’m looking forward to watching it.

For those of you who didn’t know, Cutler hasn’t been happy with the situation in Denver at all since there were rumors of 1st year head coach Josh McDaniels looking to trade Cutler for Matt Cassel.  Josh McDaniels screwed up big time, but hey, now he can start fresh with the terrible QB falling into his lap in Kyle Orton.

I think so.  No doubt he’s going to bring them back to the NCAAs.  How far they’ll go in his first few years remains to be seen, a big toss-up for sure.  But I think given what we know about the things he’s done in Memphis, Kentucky fans should rest assured this guy is going to do a wonderful job of turning the program around.  I’m excited to see what he can do.
