Patriots 2009 Schedule

So the Patriots have a fairly tough road ahead of them by way of their 2009 Season schedule.  That NFC South is going to be a lot to handle, especially with The Saints & The Falcons, each with great offenses (and we know the Patriots secondary has sucked royally the past few years; hopefully that will change this year with the addition of Shawn Springs & Leigh Bodden).
I’m very very excited for the 2009 season to get under way.  Since the Patriots traded Matt Cassel & Mike Vrabel I have been …

LeBron James is the King

Okay, let me start off by saying I love the Celtics, and of course yesterday’s game was horrendous.  Allow me to digress by saying that the Celtics had nothing to play for, they had already clinched the division.
But here we are.  The title of this post says it all.  LeBron James is THE BEST player in basketball right now.  The guy is just incredible.  At age 24 he has already established himself as the premier player in the NBA.  The King gives his all every single game and is far …

Man Pays Neighbor to Impregnate Wife

There’s more to it than meets the eye…
So a German guy figures since he’s sterile, he should just pay his neighbor $2,500 to impregnate his wife.  So you think that’s all there is to it?  No, not at all.  The neighbor’s wife was completely against it from the starts, but this guy “is doing it for the money.”  So he proceeds to try 72 times to impregnate the wife of the man who paid him to do so.  Well, I’ll let you read the rest here…

Spartans to Face Tar Heels for NCAA Championship

Michigan State’s fairy tale run continues.  The Spartans upset no. 1 seed UConn to advance to the NCAA championship game against the Tar Heels of North Carolina.  These guys might not play the prettiest game in the tournament, but would you care if you were a player, coach, or fan in that organization and you’ve made it this far?  No, of course not.  These guys are getting it done, and they must be doing something right if they’re playing for the right to be crowned the best college team in …

Two Hole in Ones?

A West Virginia Retiree hit TWO CONSECUTIVE hole-in-ones while golfing recently.  This 70 year old dude made a hole in one, took a short snack break where I’m sure he rubbed it in his friends faces, and proceeded to get up for his next hole and bury another hole in one.  This guy must be superman.  Look out, Tiger Woods, here comes Carl Smith.
Oh, and he bowls as well?  Consecutive strikes, anyone?

Peace Cereal Not So Peaceful

This one is pretty good.  An Oregon based cereal company recently had to recall thousands of boxes of cereal after customers called the number on the back and were greeted by a sexy voice saying “Do you like sex? Isn’t that why you’re here.”
Woops.  Looks like Peace Cereal wants their customers to get a piece of something else.  A typo in the company’s 800 number led hundreds of disgruntled customers to this sex line.

Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears

Well it’s official, the Jay Cutler saga is now over.  Cutler is going to the Chicago Bears along with a 2009 5th round pick.  In exchange the Bears have given Denver Kyle Orton, who definitely won’t help Denver go above .500, ever, and three draft picks:  a 2009 1st round pick (no. 18 overall) and 3rd round pick (no. 18 overall), and a 2010 1st round pick.  I suppose what the Broncos lose in Cutler (and getting Orton in return) they make up for in their draft picks.  They should probably use them wisely.
For those …
