I’m sorry I’m horribly biased. The Patriots are the best team in the NFL, but this covers a broad range of NFL news.
News on the world’s most popular spectator sport. The world calls it Football, in the U.S. we call it Soccer. “The People’s Game.”
Sources say Laurence Maroney has been traded to the Denver Broncos. Details of the trade are yet to emerge, though I’m hearing whispers of a 4th rd. pick in the 2011 draft, while the Patriots have also sent a 2011 6th Rd. pick along with Maroney to the Broncos.

Julius Peppers is a premier defensive end. He is (was, if he doesn’t sign a new contract) for Carolina what Richard Seymour …
Just a couple quick things I’d like to conclude after sitting on my couch sipping my coffee:
1. I’ll borrow this one from ESPNs Stuart Scott: The Celtics & Lakers have combined to win more than half of the total amount of NBA Championships played (33 of 63). Celtics of course have the most, with 17.
2. The Pro Bowl is a joke. It’s even worse that it comes before the Super Bowl this year. That way, the best players can’t even play. That’s awesome, way to go Roger Goodell.
3. Peyton Manning …
I would say this one is over. But the 2006 AFC Championship Game is the first thing that comes to mind when making this claim. I thought the Patriots started a bit flat when the Colts drove the length of the field and scored that opening TD with ease, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say the Pats have looked unreal since then. I guess we have to wait for the rest of this game to be played out, but hopefully Moss catches a couple more TDs and we …
